The bottom line is that the Merrell Trail Glove is a decent minimalist running shoe. The shoe has a lot of room for improvements, which luckily were made in the newer models of the shoe. I have been wearing Merrell for over 10 years and have always gravitated toward the Moab. I normally take 7.5 but recently have had some difficulties with the Moab 2 as the width does not feel as wide as prior years. However, the Alverstones fit great with very good arch support.
