 · I love Moonrise, it is authentic to the environment and boasts amazing architecture and a truly relaxing ambiance. The house is spectacular. The people of Moonhole are just wonderful and treat you like family. Our meals were prepared daily and they were delicious. The hiking here is great.  · Moonhole is a fun place I hear (have not been), but rather isolated. You would want to have a car to stay there. There are many places on the island closer to town you might check out. We stayed at Sugar Apple Inn - they have a pool and are a few minute walk to beach (3-5).

For Moonhole I would take a couple of flashlights. Maybe one of which is large and bright. There are only half a dozen streetlights in Bequia.And making a mistake ans stepping off the side of a road in the dark could end very badly.
