All our items are made to be close fitting as they are swimwear and will stretch a little in the water. They will go back to their original fit as they dry. Close fitting tops will not ride up in the water.
If you would feel more comfortable with a looser top, choose one size larger than your usual size. Make sure that the waist of your bottom is close fitting. This way, if your top is loose, you will be able to tuck your top into your skirt so that the top will not rise up in the water.

Are there special washing instructions?

You can wear your HydroChic all day long but when you take it off you MUST soak itin lukewarm water with a little detergent.
If your suit is made of nylon/lycra you must take extra care to get out any chlorine or other chemicals that your suit has absorbed from the pool.
Chlorine is a chemical and it eats at the lycra in your nylon/lycra suit. If there is any residue of chlorine on your suit after you have washed it, the chemical is still present and is still at work, attacking the lycra in your garment.
Can I wear my swimsuit in a hot tub or jacuzzi?
Depending on the chemicals used in the water, the fabric of your suit and the heat of the tub, you swimsuit can shrink, fade or stretch out. Better to use an old swimsuit for a dip in the hot tub, or jacuzzi.
What type of suit should I buy if I swim frequently in a pool?
