How to cook it and have any notice?
When cooking any pasta you should always use a medium pot with 2 cups of water per cup of pasta.
Bring water to a steady boil and add salt if desired, this gives the pasta flavor, beans and lentils have a natural salty taste to them and we at Bentilia prefer to keep that taste intact, so we add salt to balance off the effects of dilution from water. We use 1/2 tbs per 2 cups of water.
Gently add pasta to slow boiling water and stir, it is important to stir occasionally in order to avoid spill over, bean and lentil pasta tends to create more foam than traditional wheat pasta.
Once cooked, drain and rinse off well with cold water, never hot!
Set it aside and when you are ready to eat simply toss it into a hot sauce, stir-fry etc until warm throughout, then serve and enjoy a truly healthy meal.
