Steelcase was a great company to work for and I enjoyed my time there; I had great co-workers and most managers were knowledgeable and fair. The workforce there is VERY stable, many employees with 30 or 40 years at Steelcase and many 2nd and 3rd generation employees.

I was torn as most reviews and people recommend the gesture or the leap v2 in the steelcase series. I could not bring myself to spend 1K on something i was not sure about. I did two weeks of research and finally took a gamble on the Amia. I have had the chair over a week and I can say it was a good buy.

Most of the Steelcase Chairs are excellent chairs and you can’t really go wrong with any of them. However, I didn’t really like the Gesture chair in my review since I found that when I reclined the lumbar support didn’t support my lower back and there was a noticeable gap between my back and the chair.
